- A nonprofit
organization,
located in Austin, Texas, dedicated to the
emancipation of
pets from euthanasia and overpopulation, and the
interest of overall pet health and
general animal welfare.
This web site is designed to
assist pet owners, and future pet owners, in
obtaining information
about pet overpopulation and euthanasia, and what
is being done to remedy this problem.
In the City of Austin alone, approximately 1,000
dogs and cats are put to sleep each month!
There are simply more animals than there are
homes. The only solution, therefore, is the
sterilization of the pets which are breeding at
an alarming rate.
- Pet overpopulation stems from
uncontrolled breeding. If more pet owners had
their pets
spay/neutered, the number of animals put to sleep
would decrease dramatically. We urge
pet owners to take a part in the battle against
this problem.
Get your pets spayed and neutered!
